She worked as a comic-strip artist and illustrator from 1982 to 1986, with publications in alter alter and Vanity, as well as participating in group exhibitions. She began collaborating with various publishing companies and agencies in 1985, and – along with other professionals in her field – founded the corporate group Lizart comunicazione visiva in 2001. Since 2006, she has produced several self-publishing works based on her own photographs.
A member of Aiap, the Italian Association of Visual Communication Design, she has taught at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts, held workshops at the Universidad de Las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico and at the Urbino Academy of Fine Arts. She currently teaches Editorial Design and Bookmaking for the two-year Photography course at Spazio Labo', in Bologna.
A professional in public relations and business communications since 1990, when she joined Ferpi, the Italian Federation of Public Relations. Since then, she has worked for various PR companies as head of marketing communications and account director for prestigious clients, furthermore supervising the design and coordination of corporate and product communications for companies, associations and public bodies.
Since 2005, she has collaborated with the IFOA educational institution in Reggio Emilia, for the planning and teaching of communication courses for professionals in external communications and public relations in complex organizations. She has worked with Simonetta Scala for over 10 years; together, they make up the corporate group Lizart comunicazione visiva.
