From a publishing project by Gloria Corica, borns Pan del Alma, a collective colourful book on the Day of the dead in Mexico, packed with diverse content: critical texts and personal viewpoints, recipes, proverbs and songs, accompanied by drawings and photographs by people with strong links with Mexico.
As well as being presented in Italy, the book was also presented in Mexico at the Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo’s former home and now a museum in Coyoacán.
The project participated in the AWDA (Aiap Women in Design Award) 2015, and was chosen for the XXI Triennale di Milano International Exhibition in 2016.
